Options available

While the Sequim Food Bank provides supplemental food assistance, there are many other organizations on the Olympic Peninsula that can help provide clothing, transportation, rental assistance, utility assistance, and prepared meals.

Food Banks and Food Sources

  • Masonic Lodge
    Available the 3rd Thursday of every month, 7am – 10am. Located at 700 S. 5th Avenue, Sequim, WA 98382.

Prepared Meals

  • FREE Breakfast & Sack Lunch
    Hot breakfast and sack lunch 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 9:30am – 11am. Located at the Sequim Food Bank, 144 W. Alder, Sequim, WA 98382. (Sponsored by Seventh-Day Adventist Church.)
  • OlyCap Meals on Wheels and Senior Nutrition
  • St. Luke’s Episcopal Church “Light Lunch”
    Delicious hot meals served every Saturday (including holidays). 11:30am – 12:30pm. Located at 5th and Fir St. in Sequim. (No charge, no religious service, no obligation.)
  • St. Luke’s Episcopal Church “Soup’s On
    Free weekly soup and salad lunch from 12:00pm – 1:oopm. Located at 5th and Fir St. in Sequim. (No charge, no religious service, no obligation.)
  • Trinity United Methodist Church “Free Community Dinner”
    Last Thursday of each month at 6pm. Located at 100 South Blake Avenue, Sequim, WA 98382. For reservations, call between 9am and 2pm only on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday the week of the dinner.

Household Goods and Clothing

  • Dungeness Community Church Care Closet
    Call for appointment, clearly leave name and phone number. (No walk-ins please.) Provides help with household items, personal care items, clothing, etc.
  • Seventh Day Adventist Church
    Every Tuesday, 10am – 12:30pm  or  5pm – 6:30pm. Located at 30 Sanford Avenue, Sequim, WA 98382. Free food, kitchen items, clothes, hygiene items, and some toys.
  • Lucky Star Consignment
    Located at 154 W Washington St., Sequim, WA 98382. May have clothes in back for donation.

Utilities, Rent, Deposits to Secure Housing

  • Clallam County Housing Authority
    Rent subsidies for low-income, seniors and disabled. Section 8 vouchers, deposit assistance, self-help home construction.
  • Clallam County PUD
    Discounted utility fees.
  • Olympic Community Action (OlyCAP)
    OlyCAP housing services provide emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent affordable housing services. They also provide help with home weatherization, minor home repair and housing rehabilitation.
  • Sequim Community Aid
    Assistance for utilities, threatened with disconnection, new utility deposits, rents and deposits to secure housing.
  • St Vincent De Paul
    Help with utilities, rent, and deposits to secure housing.
